A little something about me: I turned to yoga for a way to channel stress and reduce some less than ideal mental health symptoms. Little did I know the healing effects and transformations that occurred once I started tuning into the body, mind, and soul. Through proper breathing techniques, intentional healing, and body movement, you can find calm in the storm.
200 hr OM YTT 2017- trained by Cyndi Lee, founder of OM Yoga, in 2017. Vinyasa yoga deeply rooted in an Iyengar linage, loving-kindness meditation, and Eastern philosophy. Trained to teach all levels of yoga for adults.
20 hr Christina Phipps Foundation YTT 2019- completed a Continuing Education Credit sponsored by University of Virginia Cancer Center. This special training was based on providing an accessible approach to yoga to those dealing with cancer or the scars it leaves behind. Please contact me if you or a loved one could benefit from gentle, loving-kindness based yoga, free of charge.
30 hr Yin YTT 2019- completed a Continuing Education Credit for Yin yoga at West Hartford Yoga in Connecticut. This training focused on slowing down, deep healing, gently approaching to postures, fascia, and dense tissue correction. Poses are held for longer to have the most amount of benefit with the least amount of effort. Hosted by Liza Dousson.
8 hr Restorative YTT 2019- trained by Cyndi Lee, founder of OM Yoga. Completed Continuing Educational Credit online for this relaxing style of yoga. Restorative yoga is meant to help the body find calm and relaxation to restore itself. Using props and passive stretching, this practice is meant to slow down both body and mind.

The Perfect Stoma Bodywork and Esthetics - Restore Yourself - 60 minute class that begins with a short mindfulness or guided meditation and breath work which ends with a restorative yoga practice.
Mindful Mountain Yoga (2019-2021) - weekly classes offered for Community and Restorative Yoga. Classes accessible to all ages and bodies.
East West Center (April 2019- October 2019) - weekly classes based in flowing yet body protective movement, positive mental health techniques, and loving mindfulness meditation
ChillWell (2019) - monthly workshop focusing on beneficial movements, grounding breathing techniques, and reinforcement of positive mental health practices for overall well being. Located in Lynchburg's only Himalayan Salt Room at London Salt Spa.

Free Range Yoga is all about joint safety as well as mobility, mindful breathing techniques, juicy flowing Vinyasa, and some fun on the yoga mat.
I am drawn to helping people find their path towards inner light, healing, and just straight up feeling good. I started my journey toward wellness and yoga for my own healing purposes. Through my journey, I discovered my path for wanting to share what I learned with others. My goal is to leave you with a sense of grounding, ease, and overall well-being. I encourage props and modifications for injuries or body structure. You can live in the moment at any age, any time, and any place to help build a better world. One person at a time.
There is only one rule, you cannot be perfect to attend my classes, privates sessions, or workshops. Can’t wait to see you on the mat!
